Bette A. Hedden

Director of Youth and Family Ministry

Bette Ann Hedden is an ordained elder in the South Carolina Conference

of the United Methodist Church and holds degrees from The Candler

School of Theology at Emory University, and Southern Wesleyan

University. Her most recent appointment was St. Paul in Florence. In

addition to leading services, Bette Ann is an accomplished flutist. She is

a member of the Chatham Community Band and Flute Choir, and plays

with Farleigh Dickenson University band. Bette is originally from

Randolph and raised her children there. She moved back to New Jersey

last summer to be near her children and grandchildren (7). She lives in

Mendham Borough with her dog named Micah. She loves animals,

reading mysteries, watching old movies and of course, all types of music.
