Our Curriculum
2-Year-Old Class
Building Confidence Through Play and Connection
Our Two-Year-Old program is a gentle and joyful introduction to the school experience. Children must be 2 years and 6 months old to begin and attend two mornings per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday). In a nurturing and supportive environment, children begin learning how to be part of a group—making friends, sharing, taking turns, and following a routine.
The curriculum is hands-on and play-based, allowing children to explore, move, and create while developing foundational skills in a fun and age-appropriate way. Activities include open-ended art, sensory exploration, music, story time, introduction to colors and shapes, snack time, and plenty of outdoor and indoor play. Teachers support each child’s individual growth with encouragement, warmth, and attention to emerging social-emotional and language skills.
3-Year-Old Class
Fostering Curiosity, Language, and Independence
Our Three-Year-Old program builds on the foundation of social development while introducing key pre-academic skills in a developmentally appropriate, play-based setting. Children must be 3 by October 1 and attend three mornings per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Friday).
Children engage in activities that support language development, early literacy, number sense, fine motor skills, and independence. The classroom is rich in opportunities for differentiated instruction—meeting each child where they are, while gently guiding them forward. A balance of structured and open-ended play encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Daily activities include circle time, music, chapel, story time, pre-writing and fine motor activities, introduction to letters and numbers, seasonal crafts, and both indoor and outdoor play. Teachers foster a love for learning in a warm, inclusive classroom where laughter, singing, and curiosity are part of every day.
4-Year-Old Class
(Pre-Kindergarten)
Empowering Learners for Kindergarten and Beyond
Our Pre-K class is a dynamic, four-morning program (Monday–Thursday) designed to prepare children for the transition to Kindergarten with confidence and excitement. Children must be 4 by October 1.
This program blends a rich academic foundation with the joyful spirit of early childhood. Through differentiated instruction, children work at their own pace while engaging in literacy-rich activities, early math exploration, science investigations, and collaborative projects—all aligned with the New Jersey State Standards.
Teachers provide a thoughtfully structured day that includes language and literacy development, math and reading readiness centers, letter-of-the-week focus, fine motor skill-building, music, art, chapel, story and puppet time, and outdoor/indoor play. Special events like the 100th day of school and author studies foster a love of learning, while small-group work and play-based centers nurture problem-solving, social skills, and confidence.
