Reverend Scot McCachren

Rev. McCachren (he,him,his) is originally from Salisbury, NC.  He enjoyed a 20-year career in the corporate insurance sector before deciding to serve God as a minister.  His wife Linda responded to their call to ministry by taking an early retirement from a 33-year corporate career.  While Scot and Linda raised a family in Northern NJ, he served as a youth leader and was an ordained deacon and elder at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown, NJ.  During a recent dinner with them, they both said that 'coming to live in Mendham will feel like coming home to us.'  They have two adult daughters, Julia and Emily.  Emily is a PC(USA) pastor living in Pennsylvania with her husband Peter, and Julia attends graduate school in New Jersey.
