We strive to provide an environment in which the children can grow in faith as they cultivate worship skills.  These goals are primarily accomplished by integrating our children into our Sunday worship service, and leading them through the amazing words and stories of the Bible.
Our Church School meets during the 9:30 AM worship hour September to June.  All children 3 years and older attend the worship service with their families, for about 15 minutes, and then leave for church school after a "Time with the Children."  On Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month) when Sunday school is in session, we invite children in grades 3 and up to go to the chapel at Hilltop House for Children's Church or they may remain in the church service with their family.  Children's Church will gather for a meaningful time of teaching and worship.  The children will also celebrate the sacrament of Communion together, being served the same bread and juice that the congregation in the sanctuary is served.

Christian education at Hilltop is a partnership between the church and all of its members.  We invite all members of our church to participate in our fine education program, thus fulfilling their vows taken at Baptism.   The participation of all of our church members allows our children to be raised in a Christian environment with a full understanding of the love and admonition of our Lord.
In order to maintain a safe place for all of our children at Hilltop House, we need all parents or guardians to come to the classrooms to pick up their children after Sunday School.  If you have made arrangements for another adult or family member to pick up your child, we would like you to fill out a child release form located in the classrooms and give it to your child's teacher.

Children ages 3 through grade 4 learn through a series of Bible stories which center around a key point that is evident throughout hands-on activities.

Children in grades 5 through 8 have topical discussions that weave scripture through ways of dealing with current everyday issues for preteens and junior high students.

A group of highly dedicated and energetic volunteers teach the children and create a safe and relaxed atmosphere for learning about God's people and how to live a Christian life.
